Cell Phone, Smart Watch Policy, and Ear buds update:
Cell phones, smart watches, and ear buds are not permitted from the time students arrive at Penquis Valley until 3:00 p.m. This differs from last year, when students could use these devices during breakfast and after the dismissal bell. Devices must remain in a locker or backpack for the entire school day, or ideally be left at home. Smart watches can not be worn during the school day.
There will be no backpacks allowed in the bathroom this school year. Students need to take their backpack to their next class and then ask to use the bathroom.
Violations for electronic devices will be the following:
First Offense
Phone/electronic device(s) will be turned into the principal’s office until the end of the day. Administration will reteach expectations.
Second Offense
The student will be assigned an after school detention. Parent/Guardian will need to pick the device up. The student will be required to turn their phone/electronic device(s) to the office (during the school day) until the detention is served.
Third Offense
The student will be assigned 2 after school detentions. Parent/Guardian will need to pick the device up. The student will be required to turn their phone/electronic device(s) to the office (during the school day) for the next 5 school days.
Fourth Offense
The student will be assigned 3 after school detentions. Parent/Guardian will need to pick the device up. The student will be required to turn their phone/electronic device(s) to the office (during the school day) for the next 10 school days.
Fifth Offense
The student will be assigned 3 after school detentions. Parent/Guardian will need to pick the device up. The student will be required to turn their phone/electronic device(s) to the office (during the school day) for the remainder of the semester or 30 days, whichever is greater.
***Refusal to adhere to requests to turn over electronic devices will result in suspension. ***

Students can now log in to Infinite Campus using their school Gmail address to view their schedules. Parent access will be available within the next couple of weeks as we verify that we have the most current parent and guardian email addresses.

Due to construction at the Penquis Valley Complex, new students (5-12) will need to make an appointment to register. Appointments can be scheduled for Monday, August 17, Tuesday, August 18, and Thursday, August 20, from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. Friday, August 21, from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm. All students registered after Friday, August 21 are not guaranteed a first day of school start date. Please call Miss Misty at 943-7346 to schedule an appointment.

Tickets are 1 for $5 or 6 for $20. The drawing is the Saturday of Homecoming, 9/26. Do not need to be present to win.
