Snow Plowing & Ice Control Bid Specifications
2026-2027 Winter Season
MSAD #41 is accepting sealed bids for snow plowing, snow removal, shoveling, and ice control services at the Marion C. Cook School at 20 Howland Road, LaGrange, Maine, for the 2026-2027 winter season. The contract period shall begin October 24, 2026, and extend through May 1, 2027. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, fuel, supervision, and other resources necessary to maintain the property in a safe and accessible condition throughout the contract period.
Bid Due Date & Submission Requirements
All bids must be received no later than 12:00 Noon on October 23, 2026, at the MSAD #41 Superintendent's Office. Bids will be opened at 12:00 P.M. on October 23, 2026. Bids may be submitted by mail or by hand delivery. All bids must be submitted using a double-envelope system. The completed bid shall be placed inside a sealed inner envelope. The inner envelope shall then be placed inside a sealed outer envelope. The outside envelope must be clearly marked: "Marion C. Cook School - Snow Removal and Ice Control Bid." Mailed bids shall be addressed to: MSAD #41\ Superintendent's Office\ ATTN: Darcie Fournier\ 48 Penquis Drive\ Milo, Maine 04463. Hand-delivered bids shall be delivered to the MSAD #41 Superintendent's Office prior to the bid deadline. Bidders are responsible for ensuring that mailed or hand-delivered bids are received by the District before the deadline. Late bids will not be considered.
