Congratulations to the boys soccer team on their 3-1 come from behind victory last night against Washburn. Drouin Brochu led the way with 2 goals, while Miles Doyon headed in a Max Hamel corner kick for the other goal. With the win, the Howlers advance to the semifinal round of the playoffs, where they'll likely be traveling to Madawaska on Friday for a 1:00 game, weather permitting.

Congratulations to the Lady Howlers on their impressive 8-0 win yesterday, also against Washburn. Lila Cummings led the way with 4 goals and an assist, while Rylee Moulton registered a hat trick as well with 3 goals. McKenna Ireland scored the other goal. Charlotte Brochu had two assists, while McKenna had one. Keeper Brooklynn Raymond and the PVHS defense notched their 11th shutout of the year. This was a semifinal game that was played early, which means the Lady Howlers will next play for the Divisional Championship next Wednesday at 4:00 in Presque Isle.

Congratulations teams, great job!

2025 Northern Maine Champs!
The Lady Howlers advance to the 2025 Class D Northern Maine Finals! In Howland on Saturday, Lauren Veino went 2-3 at the plate with 2 RBI to help propel PVHS to the 4-2 victory over the previously undefeated Katahdin Cougars. On the pitching rubber, Veino also struck out six batters and walked none! Shay Ireland also had two hits, while Ellie Austin reached base three times. The team played excellent defense, committing no errors in the game. Penobscot Valley will play Southern Aroostook for the Northern Maine Championship at the University of Maine in Orono on Tuesday 6/17 at 7:00 pm. This continues an unprecedented streak of success at PVHS, as this will be the NINTH straight championship game combined that our girls teams (soccer, basketball, and softball) are playing in...A full three year span!
