Penobscot Valley High School

Each year the Penobscot Valley Conference (PVC) holds a banquet to honor up to four Senior student-athletes from every school in the conference. At the banquet, they randomly draw the names of 12 of these athletes to receive a $1000.00 scholarship. The honorees for Penobscot Valley that attended this year were Carina Albu (Soccer Indoor Track, & Outdoor Track), Lila Cummings (Soccer, Basketball, & Softball), Matt Hatch (Soccer & Baseball), and Chase Osgood (Soccer, Basketball, & Baseball). Each of them are at or near the top of the rankings in their class, multiple sport athletes, and have averaged at 90 or better in every semester throughout high school. Even though these four bright and talented young people did not win one of the scholarships, we are extremely proud of their accomplishments, and we thank the Paul family and the PVC for the experience, opportunity, and recognition!
