A big focus for our district this year is increasing family engagement. This means building and strengthening a team approach between the school and home to create the best possible learning environment for our students. Every week, in the Weekly Message, I will share information that will help our work together.

Students will be dismissed at noon on Friday Nov 22 due to the Railroad event in Brownville. Road closures and anticipated increased traffic in the area will impact our ability to transport students home at the normal time.
There will also be no PRE-K. Thank you
Good morning, due to sickness we have to cancel today's PM Pre-K and both AM and PM Pre-K tomorrow, Friday, November 15, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience this may create.
Good afternoon,
With the changing of seasons and the plummet of the temperature, please send students with appropriate gear for being outside. It is starting to get very cold and students will need a jacket, mittens or gloves, and a hat to be out at recess.
Steph Perkins teaches the natural resources education program at TCTC. Today her and her students led the 4th graders into the nature trail to have a tree scavenger hunt, learn tree identification and see how trees can be measured with a Biltmore stick or a tree diameter tape.

Good Afternoon,
Due to a driver shortage we will be condensing the following bus routes to get students home.
Bus 47 and 49 will be riding on bus 47 with Jeanne this afternoon. This may change the time that your child is dropped off by the bus.
Thank you, Dillon Watters
After reading the book, The Boy Who Invented the Popsicle, the students decided to make their own version of a popsicle and "market" to their peers. Of course this had to include enjoying their own popsicle!

Lunch time at Brownville Elementary. Nice to have students back to school.

Happy Fourth of July!

We held our end of year assembly today and Ryan and Isabella were recipients of the Principal's award! Great job to these fine young students.

Twenty three students were awarded $100 scholarships by the Maine College Circle Director Bob Stuart. Students wrote essays and did research on what they want to be when they grow up. Never too young to think about the future. Congratulations!

Thank you to our school nurse Beth Heal and her assistant Leona Dorval. We appreciate you on School Nurse Day and every day! ❤️
Bikes For Books Assembly Thursday 9:00 a.m. Milo Elementary. Good luck everyone!
