The Board of Directors recognized the importance of the involvement of parents, churches and other community organizations in fostering the development of well-rounded citizens. It further recognizes the need to give students time to engage in family, church or community activities, free from interference with school activities.
Accordingly,
no school co-curricular activities shall be scheduled on Sunday, nor shall any
practices, mandatory or optional be scheduled on Sundays.
Sunday practices may be held, with the
permission of the Superintendent, if a tournament game is scheduled on a Monday
and the teams were unable to practice on the preceding Saturday due to
inclement weather or other act of God.
